It’s an exciting time at La Macchia Design Group, LLC. Since moving from California to Wisconsin over a year and a half ago the woodworking and custom design shop is now officially open for business once again.

The shop has largely been in storage since the move. It’s been a large part of my business for the last 7 years and more importantly it’s a huge part of my creative passion.  Life’s circumstances prevented me from setting it up sooner. It takes a lot of time and effort to get a shop off the ground. So this is a proud moment.

I’m several months into this shop’s evolution. It’s a good size space, probably about 1200 sq/ft. I have plenty of room to build medium to large sized projects. Please take a look at my custom design gallery.

This collection of sketches was largely created over the last year.  I used the shop downtime to fill my sketchbook. I will be releasing the full collection over the next six months and continue to publish volumes as I create them. The first piece from this series has already been commissioned and will start  in July.
